EQUIVALENT TO THE PROBABILITY OF ERROR WITH BLOCK ERROR CORRECTION CODES
A. Bliadze, V. Gurevich

 Read

Abstract: The probabilities of bit and code errors are compared when using non-redundant and noise-resistant block codes in a digital radio system for transmitting information. The analysis results are accompanied by graphs that allow you to select the bit rate of the noise-tolerant code necessary to ensure the specified probability of code errors.

Keywords: Radio information transmission system, bit error, code error, non-redundant binary code, re-dundant code, code correcting ability, binomial error distribution.

MONOPULSE METER OF TWO ANGULAR COORDINATES WITH A SPACE-TIME RADIATED SIGNAL
V. Orlov, S. Poddubny

 Read

Abstract: The article describes the development of an algorithm of operation of a monopulse meter of two angular coordinates with two receiving channels with using complex space-time emitted signal. The azimuth of the target estimates by using the received space-time signals. The elevation estimates by using the phase monopulse method. Calculations of the Ambiguity Functions (AF) of space-time signals, their analysis to identify the influence of the angular code on the form of AF and measuring precision of angular coordinates. The calculation of discriminating characteristics of the position angle and azimuth meters is performed.

Keywords: Meter of two angular coordinates, space-time signals.

METHODS OF DATA CHANNELS TESTING FOR THE IOT DEVICES AND APPLICATIONS
Y. Avakyan, R. Kirichek, V. Kulik

 Read

Abstract: This paper discusses methods for testing data channels under a functional load of traffic generated by devices and applications of the Internet of things. The research of data channels is carried out according to the following quality of service parameters: throughput, network latency, network jitter, packet loss percentage. To measure these parameters, it is proposed to use the following types of testing: stress testing, benchmark testing. A model network including devices and application of the Internet of things was developed to define functional load models. The considered methods can be used to develop systems for testing data channels of the Internet of things.

Keywords: The Internet of things, stress testing, benchmark testing, quality of service, generation methods.

ANALYSIS OF THE APPLICATION OF MACHINE LEARNING FOR THE TASKS OF TELECOM OPERATORS
A. Belozor, A. Goldstein

 Read

Abstract: In the transition to fifth generation networks, telecom operators are faced with more and more tasks that require solutions using complex data processing algorithms, in particular – forecasting tasks. Machine learning is becoming increasingly popular for application, but due to the variety of its algorithms and the impossibility of their universal use, there is a need to determine the area of application for each of them. For telecom operators one of the priority tasks is to predict various parameters (contact center load, subscriber churn, loyalty index) in an enormous growth of the number of interacting objects, diversity of services, increasing data volumes. The authors of the report find it interesting to find the connection between the tasks of telecoms operator and the methods of machine learning, which can be used to effectively solve these problems.

FUNCTIONING OF THE INTERNET OF THINGS NETWORKS WITH MOVING NODES
A. Marochkina, А. Paramonov

 Read

Abstract: The area of application for the Internet of Things networks is vast. One of the main uses for such a network is the organization of network traffic. A traffic stream can be considered as a self-organizing network with moving nodes. This article describes the various features of such networks. Models with various mobility, velocity and density parameters of nodes are considered for studying the routes in this networks.

Keywords: Self-organizing communication networks, Internet of Things, routing protocols, high-density networks, transport networks.

THE FUNCTIONAL STRUCTURE OF SMART HOME BASED ON OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS
S. Vladimirov, V. Hamova

 Read

Abstract: The paper represents a possible functional structure of the Smart Home project based on open source software. Within the framework of this structure, recommendations on the use of open source software were implemented and the functionality and services available for management were determined. The recommendations reflect the application features of server and client parts of the software when working in different operating systems. In the work, fragments of building a possible intra-home network with the organization of various interfaces for connecting with devices of the Smart Home have been worked out. The main goal of the work is to present a budget solution to the Smart Home project with minimal capital costs and phased implementation.
