REVIEW OF 5G NETWORK SERVICES AND THEIR INTEGRATION WITH THE NETWORK DATA ANALYTIC FUNCTION
V. Elagin, G. Vrublevskiy, E. Mirzoev, A. Ektova
Abstract: The still widely used 4G networks are not able to adequately meet the constantly emerging new needs of users for mobile services. In their attempts to meet the needs and requests of subscribers, the operators faced a number of problems, namely: the lack of flexibility of communication networks, their complexity, and the increase and constant increase in the cost of operating communication networks. The technology of super-dense 5G networks allows to solve these problems and eliminate shortcomings to some extent, thus becoming a logical development of mobile communication networks. However, 5G, with all its advantages and development prospects, both within the framework of the network architecture and the variety of services provided, faces the problem of a large array of processed data, or rather their analysis – a method of data processing to improve the quality of service of 5G communication networks.

MODELING OF THE PULSE SHAPING AND MATCHED FILTERS
G. Fokin
Abstract: Pulse shaping filtering on transmission and matched filtering on reception are one of the main stages of digital signal processing that directly affect the noise immunity of their reception, therefore, the models, developed in this work, are of certain methodological interest, the relevance of which is confirmed by continuing in the last years trend of implementing procedures for transmitting, receiving and processing signals by means of model-based design and software-defined radio. The presented work contains scripts for the synthesis of the pulse shaping and matched filters with given characteristics for the subsequent software implementation of simulation models for assessing the noise immunity of modern and future mobile communication and radio access systems. The formalization of the known mathematical models of intersymbol interference and the Nyquist filter for its elimination are accompanied by scripts in the Matlab environment for constructing and visualizing its impulse and frequency characteristics. The implemented software toolkit makes it possible to evaluate the influence of the smoothing coefficient and limiting the length of the impulse response, as well as to visualize the width of the signal spectrum in the frequency domain and its distortion by the eye diagram in the time domain.
Keywords: intersymbol interference, Nyquist filter, shaping and matched filters, raised cosine filter, impulse and frequency response, roll-off factor, eye diagram.

AN ALGORITHM FOR EVALUATING AND IMPROVING THE STATISTICAL STABILITY OF THE RESULTS OF RETROSPECTIVE STUDIES BASED ON GEOCHRONOLOGICAL TRACKING
Y. Ivakin, S. Potapichev, V. Elagin

 Read

Abstract: Geochronological tracking has been accorded wide recognition as an appropriate scientific and methodological toolkit and an effective information technology for retrospective research in the interests of substantiating and rationalizing transport route net-works, transportation logistics, analyzing the facts of population migration and movements of individual historical figures. A procedure based on geochronological tracking for statistical verification of research hypotheses has been developed about robust trends in the development of various spatiotemporal processes. The reliability and validity of accepting a particular hypothesis within the framework of a retrospective study is deter-mined by the representativeness of the initial dataset on geographic movements, considered as a sample from the general population. The statistical significance (robustness) of the results of a retrospective study based on geochronological tracking depends on the sufficiency of the considered initial data on the movements of the objects under study. This article is devoted to the analysis of this dependence and the development of an algorithm for assessing the specified robustness (or significance).

Keywords: geographic information systems, GIS-technologies for historic research, geochronological track and tracking, graphs isomorphism, optimal algorithm, refinement of algorithm, GIS-based interdisciplinary research, statistical inference robustness.
